Orange Line Raw Kinky Curly Bundles
Our Orange Line raw kinky curly bundles are made with the top 20% healthiest natural color Chinese raw hair material. To create this texture, we steam-style premium raw straight hair into a tight, defined Type 4 coil. It delivers massive structural volume and the exact curl pattern that clients with natural hair look for in high-end sew-ins and custom wigs.
Contraction and Install Strategy: Because this is a tight Type 4 coil, these natural hair bundles show extreme contraction. Every bundle is cut at least 1 inch longer than labeled, but in its coiled state, a 20″ bundle will sit noticeably shorter than a loose wave. Plan your install lengths carefully so your final unit doesn’t come up short.
End Fullness and Density: These kinky curly bundles are single drawn, but we deliberately push the fullness ratio higher than standard vendors: 15% for lengths up to 18″, and a strict 20% for anything 20″ and longer. Because the tight coil naturally expands, this 20% ratio gives you an incredibly thick, dense look without forcing you to buy extra filler bundles.
Bleach Performance and Lifespan: Because the raw hair material is naturally pure in color, it lifts cleanly past #613. With basic care, this hair easily lasts 2 to 3+ years. However, keep in mind that heavy bleaching acts as a chemical relaxer. If you lift the hair lighter by quite a few shades, it will permanently loosen the tight steam-styled coil. For major color work, many professionals buy our straight bundles first and texturize them afterward for better control.
The Cuticle Reality: Forcing straight top-to-bottom aligned donor hair into a tight Type 4 coil creates a relative 360-degree cuticle direction. This makes hair quite high-maintenance. We fix this by giving the raw bundles a minor acid bath before steam-styling to slightly blunt the cuticles. This necessary step reduces tangling complaints by 99% and keeps the tight coils easy to manage long-term without dropping the quality.
Note: We categorize these as raw because they’re made from raw hair material that’s completely unprocessed. “Virgin” is typically used for processed floor hair and no longer means “steam-styled raw.”
