Q: What’s the origin of your Orange Line straight 613 bundles?

A: Our hair is sourced from the Chinese countryside, where girls are willing to sell their hair for a fair amount of money. The hair gets cut directly from a girl’s head, and the direction of the cuticles stays aligned. As a Chinese hair vendor, China is generally the only country where we have complete control over the quality of the hair we source.

Q: What’s the weight of your Orange Line 613 straight bundles?

A: In China, it’s common to see bundles weighing between 80 and 95 grams. Many vendors claim that their bundles are 100 grams, but they rarely are. Remove some of the rubber bands, and you might even lose 5-10 grams of the weight. The weight of our 613 straight bundles is 95±2 grams with the rubber bands removed, and around 100 grams when with rubber bands.

Q: What’s the lifespan of your Orange Line 613 bundles?

A: It’s hard to give an exact lifespan since it depends on various factors, including how well the client takes care of the hair. Generally, top-quality hair can last 2-3 years with proper care. Our #613 hair is also top-quality, but the bleaching process can cause some damage. Typically, our #613 hair lasts about 1.5 years.

Q: Are your Orange Line 613 bundles ‘Single Donor’ hair?

A: You buy 3 ‘single donor’ bundles and a ‘single donor frontal’, and then have them installed on your head. Now you have a 4-donor install. Did the quality just get reduced by installing it? No, of course not. Single-donor hair is a marketing label, and 99% of the time, it’s multi-donor hair.

As you might’ve noticed, if you buy bundles from a vendor and they’re, for example, 3 24″ bundles, all are going to be of equal fullness. It’s not that one bundle is going to have really full ends, but another with thin ends. This is because the fullness is controlled and bundles are produced with a fixed short-to-long-hair ratio. For our single-drawn bundles, the fullness is roughly 10-12%. To fix this ratio requires hair from multiple donors to be combined. However, it has 0 effect on the actual quality of the hair.

That’s why we’re able to bleach our multi-donor hair to colors like #1001 and still have intact cuticles.
