What Is Your Orange Line Hair?

Our orange line has the best quality hair you can find. We use raw hair to create different textures with steam. The hair keeps its natural color, can be bleached to light shades while remaining relatively healthy, and lasts 2-5 years. Our lace closures and lace frontals are still hand-tied in China because the ones made in North Korea tend to mix lower-quality hair with the raw material, resulting in inferior quality.

What Are the Short Hairs Coming Out of the Lace Frontals?

The short hairs you see are called return hairs. Lace closures and lace frontals are hand-tied, meaning the hair is tied to the lace with a knot. For example, to create a 20-inch lace frontal, 24-inch hair is used, leaving about 4 inches of return hair.

Why 4 inches? Return hairs have cuticles facing the opposite direction, requiring processing. If the return hairs are longer, it causes issues, and if they are shorter, it becomes harder to lay them flat.

What Density Are the Wigs?

Determining the exact density can be tricky since you pay per bundle, not per weight. For example, a 10-inch 13×4 lace front wig made with two bundles weighs around 250 grams, translating to about 400% density. Meanwhile, a 20-inch lace front wig with two 26-inch bundles weighs about 280 grams, which is approximately 200% density. Generally, our wigs have a minimum density of 200%.

Help! My Customized Wig Is Shedding!

Don’t worry, it’s not shedding. During the wig-making process, we cut the weft multiple times and sometimes split the double weft. This causes some hair strands to become loose and no longer attached to the weft.

For straight wigs, we can comb out these loose hairs. However, combing non-straight wigs can change their texture significantly, so we only use finger-combing for textured wigs. Once the loose hairs are removed, the shedding issue will stop.
