DEC Collection

Virgin Hair Extensions – DEC Collection

Let’s face it, the highest-quality Asian hair extensions tend to be quite silky. Great if your natural hair is silky-smooth… Not so much if your natural hair has a bit more textured volume to it.

Our DEC Collection has a bit of increased porosity, meaning it has more natural volume and “grip” to better match your hair type. It tends to hold steam-styled textures significantly better than our LUX line, making it the go-to for clients who need a realistic blend rather than just silky shine.

Why Choose DEC over LUX?

1. Better Texture Match

Let’s face it: many of your clients have hair with natural texture and volume. And where does that volume come from? Higher porosity—which typically implies their own hair isn’t 100% healthy. When you try to match that with our LUX extensions (which are maximally healthy), you are trying to blend silky smooth hair with hair that has a bit of “fluff” to it.

That is where our DEC line shines. It has slightly higher porosity than LUX, giving it the texture needed to match those clients seamlessly after washing. Additionally, DEC textures are steam-styled with higher heat, creating a longer-lasting curl than the gentler processing of our LUX line permits.

2. Lower MOQs

Because we keep more raw material in stock for the DEC Collection than our LUX line, we can produce it with lower Minimum Order Quantities. For single colors, piano colors, and M-type coloring, the MOQ is just 100g (with some exceptions for existing stylist clients at 50g for single colors). For rooted-type coloring, the MOQ is 300g.

Is the DEC Collection still cuticle-aligned Hair?

Yes, absolutely. They’re 100% cuticle-aligned Virgin Hair Extensions. The difference lies in the source: while our LUX line comes from donors who never processed their hair, DEC is sourced from donors who may have colored their hair previously. This gives it the increased porosity needed to match voluminous textures, making it true Salon-Grade hair.

Is the DEC Collection Double Drawn?

Yes. The standard fullness ratio for the DEC line is 30%, meaning 30% of the strands reach the full length. This provides a natural taper that blends easily without requiring heavy thinning, which is ideal for most clients up to lengths of 22″. If you require a thicker, blunt end, we can customize higher fullness ratios upon request.
